Shrimmaya Hotel was founded by my father Mr. Kailash Raj Rathod, in the year 1991 with a vision to create a Home Away From a Home… for travellers visiting Ujjain. His dedication to hospitality and excellence laid the foundation for what has become one of the most beloved hotels in the city.

Leadership

Our Managing Director, Raj Rathod, brings a wealth of experience to our family business. Formerly a chef at the prestigious London Marriott, Raj decided to return to Ujjain in the year 2009 to take the reins of Shrimmaya Hotel. Under his leadership, the hotel has flourished, combining international standards with the warmth of traditional Indian hospitality.
